Open Position — Digital Media Coordinator

Global HERO Project (GHP) Digital Media Coordinator will research, plan, implement and manage GHP’s website, digital communication, and social media accounts.  Actively participates with GHP staff to provide support to the organizations overall mission and goals.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or related field.
  • Experience with MS Office core suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and Mac OS.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, WordPress website structure, Squarespace, technology platforms.
  • Strong photography and writing skills; video a plus.

Open Position — Grant Writer

Global HERO Project (GHP) Grant Writer will research, prospect, develop, and produce requests/proposals and reports to corporations, foundations and government agencies.  The grant writer will work closely with the development director to achieve GHP's annual financial goals.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two years grant writing in a professional setting, with demonstrated success.
  • Experience preparing federal, state, corporate, and local grants.
  • Experience with MS Office core suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
 

Open Position — Volunteer Coordinator

Passionately assumes responsibility and accountability for the coordination of the volunteer program in accordance with current standards, regulations and established policies/procedures. Recruits, schedules, orientates and trains volunteers while ensuring assignments match the skills and needs of Global HERO Project (GHP). Maintains volunteer database, produces newsletter and communication to promote engagement in the program and GHP mission. Coordinate Volunteer recognition and represents GHP at community outreach events.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • One year of recruiting experience preferred.

  • Ability to supervise, coordinate, and evaluate volunteer services.

  • Experience with MS Office core suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Mac OS.

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong ability to take initiative, coupled with leadership skills and the ability to take charge of a situation.

 

Open Position — Office Assistant/Receptionist

Global HERO Project (GHP) Office Assistant/Receptionist will perform clerical work, involving billing, banking, payroll, communicating with volunteers, donors and our global community. Office Assistant/Receptionist will represent GHP in person or by phone, directing calls to the appropriate staff or traveling with the President or Vice President, of GHP.

Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience with customer service preferred.
  • Experience with MS Office core suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Mac OS.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
